Recruit, Search, and Appoint

 

HR:  Hiring Manager Resources (mostly for classified staff)

  

 

 

Orientation 

 

 

Exit with notice

Employee

    • review Human Resources Information for Exiting Employees
    • send letter of resignation to Dean with copies to supervisor, AD, and Academic Personnel (librarian & unclassified) or HR (classified)
    • schedule an exit interview with Employee Benefits (513) 529-3926
    • give supervisor: 
      • access to pertinent files on google drive and other electronic files 
      • pertinent paper files

 

Supervisor

    • make adjustments to cover essential responsibilities including electronic tools (libguides, libstats etc)
    • schedule exit interview with employee
    • confirm
      • employee has scheduled exit interview with Employee Benefits
      • forwarding address, keys, ID, parking hang tag are with ASC 
      • timecard or leave report is submitted and approved 
    • notify Systems (to systems@miamioh.edu)
      • schedule computer wipe
      • request removal from library listservs  
    • notify web site staff (to mlink@lib.muohio.edu)
      • request removal from library web site/staff directory 
    • request removal from (email oxlibstaff if needed)
      • wikis(cluster, personnel, instruction...) & other library web pages 
    • if employee leaves without giving access to google drive files
      • send email to Head, Academic Personnel, requesting access to the former employee google drive
      • must request within 45 days of resignation date. 

 

Administrative Services Coordinator

    • schedule exit interview with Dean 
    • change phones
    • notes office number is vacant
    • removes signage
    • updates staff list on web, org chart, paper
